[Bethany] - About a week before Thanksgiving we went to a Family Thanksgiving with our beloved LGBTQ family here in town. It was held at a church that also happened to be having a rummage sale in their fellowship room, and this big tiger was there for $2. Simon was simultaneously intrigued by it and a little fearful, but he got over his fear. A friend decided to buy it for him, and we took it home for the night. Unfortunately, we realized that it was the kind of critter that is stuffed with tiny styrofoam beads, and it had a tear under an arm. We let Simon hug & play with big tiger till bedtime, but then the tiger was demoted to the basement, to await either the dump or another 2nd hand store.
